Handcrafted wooden teaching aids (horizontal figure eight, X, shamrock) are intended for initial teaching of reading and writing for all children. Use is especially recommended for pre-school and school-age children who have deficits in the following areas: dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia. With regular use, develop concentration, memory, visual and motor rhythm, visual tracking, visual-motor co-ordination and co-activate both eyes, hand, and the two cerebral hemispheres. We recommend the use of home learning before learning to read and write in kindergartens and schools, when we want to encourage the integration of both hemispheres at the same time and, consequently, more effective learning in individual and group support to schools where children are corrected its deficiencies and in all situations, we encourage balanced development by identifying and developing the potential of every individual.
